Sparkies… I love you <3

along the way of our arkansas road trip we were given a guided tour of Columbia Missouri by a local / friend (story for another post). As we were walking back to the car we decided to stop at this interesting little ice cream shop!

It’s called sparkies and im absolutely obsessed with it!!! we need a local ice cream shop like this in metro detroit!!! Truth be told we probably do have them… i just don’t get out much

when we first arrived the line was almost to the door… (by the time we left it was out the door!) we waited in line and admired all the artwork on the walls, the vibes were immaculate <3  when we stepped up to the case it was go go go, pick your ice cream and order as fast as you can.

I picked the peppermint chocolate cake (I don’t think that’s what it was called but that’s what I’m calling it!!!) First of all, the peppermint flavor was perfect a little subtle but at the same time the perfect amount, it’s not like you couldn’t taste it but it wasn’t overpowering! Then the cake omg the cake!! It was like my two favorite ice cream’s put together (birthday cake and peppermint) the cake was super moist still and the perfect texture to go with the ice cream,,, the flavor of the cake was also amazing and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t like chocolate!

We ate our ice cream on the walk home while the sun was setting and it was just a perfect end to our time with my friend <3

All and all I rate Sparkies Ice Cream in Columbia Missouri 5 stars
